TD Production Notes: Westside Story was a two-story all metal set with multiple ship ladders transitioning between each level. Additional dummy ladders ascended into the fly house to give the illusion of another level beyond view of the audience. Two iconic climbable chain link fences flew and locked into the platforms for the cast to interact with. The cityscape flat skins were CNC milled by a production house in town, providing an exceptional experience for the student ATD. The production also required me to do extensive stage firearm training with the cast and crew.
